What Is YUM?
YUM is the highly scientific secret ingredient in all YUM brand soft plastic baits. YUM starts a feeding frenzy because it’s the only fish attractant with natural shad enzymes plus salt impregnation for even more fish attracting power. And for the things you don’t want on your bait or in the water, YUM Hand Balm masks negative odors like gasoline, tobacco, insect repellent and human skin oils that gamefish can detect.
Beware of the
Bottom Feeder.
Because competitors use either artificial agents, fish meal, or reprocessed shad or crawfish, many other so-called “attractants” actually reproduce odors that are negative to gamefish.
If you want to start a feeding frenzy, use YUM with LPT.
Why? Because everything else is dead.

One of the most popular YUM baits available, the YUM Crawbug, is also one of the easiest to rig.
To begin, start with the proper size hook. A 2 1/2-inch YUM Crawbug needs a 1/0 Excalibur Wide Gap hook. An Excalibur 2/0 or 3/0 hook for the 3 1/4-inch Crawbug works fine, and a hook as large as the Excalibur 4/0 could be used for the 4-inch Crawbug.
Tie the hook onto Silver Thread line. Begin the rigging by inserting the hook into the tail of the Crawbug. Run the hook 1/2 inch into the tail and exit the point of the hook underneath the tail. Run the Crawbug up the hook and position the tail of the Crawbug near the eye of the hook.
Place the point of the hook into the open body cavity and insert the point into the head of the Crawbug so it exits the skull portion directly in between and slightly behind the eyes. Reinsert the point of the hook just deep enough to bury the point. This "skin hooking" will render the YUM Crawbug weedless.
